Kettering University graduates rank No. 1 in the state of Michigan in salary potential for alumni earning bachelor’s degrees, according to rankings released by Payscale.com on September 11.

Payscale looked at 61 colleges in Michigan when compiling the rankings, with Kettering University ranking first in both early career median salary and the mid-career (10+ years of experience) salary categories.

“Kettering University graduates are uniquely prepared to make immediate impacts in their fields,” said Kettering University President Dr. Robert K. McMahan. “Our students not only receive an outstanding education in our classrooms and labs, but they are also immersed in the practice of their field of study from practically day one through meaningful professional co-op experiences and research placements. As a result, our students graduate with both a world-class education and 2.5 years or more of meaningful and relevant professional experience. The Payscale rankings reflect that head start – from the moment our students step on campus we prepare them to be creative innovators and leaders in theory and in practice, which gives them advantages that they build upon throughout their entire career. The result: they advance quickly and achieve remarkable things.”
